Conor McGregor Slaps MMA Official When Celebrating Teammate's Win [VIDEO]

    Slap @ 1:45

CONOR McGregor is in hot water after appearing to SLAP an official at tonight’s Bellator 187/BAMMA 32 event in Dublin.

The UFC star was involved in a crazy altercation in the cage with referee Marc Goddard at the event in the 3Arena.

And ‘The Notorious’ also appeared to slap an official as he tried to enter the cage a second time.

As the Dubliner climbed back onto the side of the arena an official came over to stop him and McGregor looked to have responded by slapping him in the head.

McGregor got into a heated row with referee Goddard after he jumped into the arena to celebrate a victory by his team-mate Charlie Ward over John Redmond.

After Goddard tried to remove The Notorious from the cage, the Dubliner chased the official across the mat despite the attempts to hold him back.

McGregor then appears to push the referee while launching into a rant against him as he is restrained.

Goddard and McGregor crossed paths last month when he ordered the UFC star to sit down while he cheered on another team-mate Artem Lobov from outside the cage.

McGregor eventually left the cage while continuing to shout at Goddard as he made his way out.

When asked about the incident afterwards Ward said: “No comment, I didn’t see anything so I don’t know what happened.

“All I know is I got my hand raised and that’s it. I’ve nothing else to say about that situation.”

Hopefully he gets in some legal trouble for that then gets knocked out in his next fight.

No doubt there's going to be a bunch of lawyers contacting the official and the ref who was pushed, to try to secure the case as prosecutors. They're likely to be deciding right now whether they pursue legal action but ultimately they'll probably settle out of court because it's precarious and potentially self-harming. If they sue Mcgregor they put Bellator in a tricky position because of Bellator's relationship with him, so they may effectively jeopardize their own jobs as a result.

I know the ref personally. He doesn’t care about Connor jumping in the ring he’s mad because HE WANTS HIS MOTHA ****IN REFUND FROM UFC TV.

McGregor's boxing career might not be over yet, he may box again, and not to mention he did just fight one of the world's biggest boxing stars, Floyd Mayweather. So this incident is related to an MMA fighter + pro boxer.

Absolutely. He is technically licensed to lace up a pair of gloves. He’s still trying to learn how to punch with them though.
