A determined, tough Evans withstood Luis Rosa's relentless pressure and edged him in a very competitive, physical featherweight fight to win a 10-round split decision. The southpaw's win against the previously undefeated Rosa was his biggest since Dominican knockout artist Javier Fortuna knocked out Evans in the first round of their April 2012 fight.
