Isn't that a little harsh? He tried to fight some top contenders but the fights fell apart. Joshua won't fight him unless he gets the majority of the purse.

I always thought the Wilder/Klitsch would happen first before Klitschko/AJ did.
It's clear DW never had any intention of fighting the guy who dominated the hw scene a decade.
There was no clear answer why he avoided him.

Molina - Horrible fight but was coming off injury and Joshua also fought him
Duhupas - Came off beating Charr and being robbed against a undeafeated Teper, than knocked out an undeafeted Helenuis
Spzilika - Came off beating Adamak and 3 KO wins
Arreola - Late replacement for #2 ranked heavyweight Povetkin
Washington - Undeafeted and Late replacement
Stiverne - Mandatory and Late replacement for #3 ranked heavyweight Luis Ortiz
What was the top 10 like when Stiverne was no.3? Context is important

Povetkin was no.2 but lost to Wlad the year before, Vitali retired, Haye was out, Fury had only just beaten Chisora. Pulev had just lost to Wlad, Takam was recently beaten by Povetkin.

Hell, Glazkov was ranked in the top 10. Stiverne was at the top end of an extremely weak top 10, and even then, unjustifiably so, considering he only beat Arreola.

Let's paint the whole picture about this no.3 ranking

Deontay got things done the smart way, you just gotta keep crushing cans year in year out, again and again and again.

Thats how you become the most feared man in our sport.
What do you mean "no need to fight top 10 opponents"? What top 10 list are you referring to anyway? We do know that you can become big in the UK by beating a 41 year old coming off a loss and long layoff, lmao.
