Not sure what rates as a good coach, but I think if I’d been in the corner for as many world title fights (many of which were successful) I’d be pretty happy with my career as a coach. He’s also banked many millions in the process.

His fighters are trained in the roach style, it had its day but there was a golden era for him where it worked well, but the sport moved on.

Roach should be advising Manny to retire now. He had a great career but it's time to call it quits. As far as fighting these younger guys forget it. Even if he managed to beat some of them he will take a lot of punishment. Larry Holmes against Ali and Marciano against Louis were pointless fights. Both Louis and Marciano didn't feel good about beating them. That's where Pacquiao is headed.

Couldn’t agree more, and from Freddie’s recent tone I’d say he is advising PAC to wrap it up. I actually believe he does care about Manny, same can’t be said for the money men like Arum but Freddie doesn’t want to see him get punished, that’s why he’s only talking about Horn, because he’s about the same level. You’re right Crawford etc would really go to town on him.

Manny started sliding years ago. The first Bradley fight was the beginning of the end and that was 5 and a half years ago. He should have stopped after the trilogy with Bradley it was a sweet last hurrah, but they never can stop at the right time. Now we're talking about a rematch with Jeff effing Horn even though manny got robbed hard. Sad smh.

Honestly Arum would be ****** not to have Crawford fight Horn on ESPN. It would do great for Crawford's popularity, and Crawford would knock him out.
