thats not the reason he quit...it was because leonard frustarted him..jabbing and running..thats why alot of ppl hated leonard because he ran so much

...no... it was because he had a stomach cramp. and while it might be a little unbelievable, the evidence is all in the fight. he left his face wide open to jabs and hooks, which is unlike duran. and everytime a bodyshot landed he took steps backward. agian, very unlike duran.

He was also very frustrated, but add that to a bad stomach cramp, and no fighters gonna want to go on. but at that point in durans career, he didnt have the champions will. he had like 75 fights at that point, which is a hella lot.
