I rate Josh taylor highly not because I'm British.

He has brilliant timing, punch variety. Pace control dictating the fight good grasp of distance, great amateur pedigree. I can't fault him at all so far and aged 25 he's got room for progression. looking forward to seeing him deal with vasquez who is a tough out for anyone at the weight.

Yeah packed night tomorrow night, and its the fight I'm most looking forward to. Most impressive thing about Taylor is how much he improves with every fight aswell. Cant wait to stick it some Americans next year with him, always leave him out when they talk about the future of 140.

I like William's in the Smith rematch, and you're right about taylor improving each fight.

He dispatched Ohara with ease I liked the spite towards the end he's got that edge about him. and like yourself I feel he could be a major player in the division I think fighting world level opponents will raise his game even more so then he's displayed. The tartan tornado will have his first belt opportunity at World level in 2018 definitely.

Yeah I'm going with Williams aswell, be flicking furiously between the channels all night.

Think Taylor probably needs 2 more fights after this one. I expect the next one to be Yigit. Yigits next fights on a Cyclone card, maybe they've already sorted something out. Then another former champion/contender. Think he'll be good to go after that, back end of next year

I agree couple more learning fights on a bigger stage, gaining experience. Yigits fight should be a routine win. With cyclone and the frampton, Cummings, leaving what do you reckon Josh will do? I reckon he'd smash it with hearn behind him even more so than he can with mcguigan. Though I might be wrong

Yeah it's an interesting development fight. Easton and Ilunga have solid step-up opponents too. In general I think Cyclone match their prospects very well. Oh and I'm looking forward to seeing McGregor's debut too although the opponent is still TBA

McGuigans got a few good Scot prospects though to build Taylors cards around. Gets eyes on Channel 5. Think hes fine at the moment. McGuigans getting him good fights.

If the moneys stuffs true though he should get out of there.

Taylor points in a tough fight is the common opinion on this one but I've got a feeling JT is going to be the first man to stop Vasquez. Slow him down via the body and stop him late. I can see the ref saving Vasquez or the towel coming in.

Lee McGregor is apparently very special. Can't wait to see how he looks. Scottish boxing is looking very promising just now with those two and Willie Hutchison who is also a very highly rated talent.

Definitely mate, I think Easton gets hit too much will get clocked on his way up the rankings. Mcgregor? As in elastic arm warm up routine edition who fought Floyd?

Yeah I agree mcguigan does well in that aspect and not charging ppvs which helps for wider audience coverage.
