      I think I've seen that. I don't really remember all the details of Johnson's story, but I do know he was a bad man. I believe he would've been a great fighter in any era I've seen. He definitely looked like a very difficult fighter to have to face.

        Yea he was 1st to really revo defence.(kinda like Dempsey and later louis did with offence)He was 1st heavy anyways to use his hands to parry blows.Like slappimg down shots with his gloves not just block with arms.

              Before Jack Johnson won the world heavyweight tittle in 1908 he won the colored heavyweight champion title in 1903 and successfully defended it 17 times. When he won the world heavyweight title he vacated the colored heavyweight title.
