Jacobs said Jermall has no contractual obligations to Showtime

If no GGG-Canelo or Saunders-Lemieux winners then Charlo can get that work....

Ducking though? I thought he ran to HBO where Jermall couldn't touch him?

Maybe now that Jacobs is an HBO fighter, he's trying to recruit?

Maybe he talked his friend Andrade into switching over

Jacobs will clearly take on everyone. If fights don’t happen yesterday they say some one is ducking. He was s fight coming up to worry about. I think this year should show everyone that the fights you don’t think will happen actually will. But then they will complain they will get made. I don’t understand some of these fellas

He has fought on Showtime, NBC and FS1 in the past few years. He's free to fight anywhere

Why would Jacobs run from Jermall? Jermall just barely beat Trout and never had Trout in trouble. Canelo dropped Trout and badly hurt him. Some guy I never heard of knocked Trout down twice and Hurd stopped Trout. Jermall's big win at 160 was over a crippled boxer. Jacobs fought GGG and yet he is going to run from Jermall? I doubt the best middleweights will duck Jermall. He is good but not so good they would duck him.

A boxer doesn't have to run to another network to avoid fighting another boxer. All he needs to do is to refuse to sign a contract to fight that boxer.

                  styles and approaches make ifhgts.

jacobs wouldn't give cjarlo the respect he gave golovkin. i expect this one to be a barnburner. both guys might go down. jacobs might go down and win. shading jacobs on this one as he's the more natural MW, but it's far from set in stone, charlo can punch and he's not a cupcake.

good fight if it gets made. i'd love to see jacobs get a shot at canelo once golovkin retires. he's a likable guy and FFS he beat cancer. spinal cancer! dude was in a wheelchair! war jacobs' spine.

Jacobs will get this fight, too big and too strong. Bigger than Charlo and the more powerful puncher.
