Eddie Hearn is good for the sport. People will see that in time. He doesn't deserve a lot of the stick he gets.

He is not good for the sport judging by his last PPV and if the joshua vs wilder is not early next year he is not different than Don King just that he is white

Seriously you need to read a Don King biography. Hearn is more like a cross between a naughty public school boy and a used car salesman. Don king r*ped boxing but yeah that last ppv should have been better good point.

.. but even the most rabid Wilder fan (including his manager) should admit his manager has been holding that belt hostage for years .. ie the whole he's only just won the title and he's just a heavyweight baby, he ain't ready for no Klitschko etc speech, basically his point now is you guys better not do what I did.

Most tribal sports fans can't deal with the prolonged dominance of others within their sport, as it delays the fantasy they are waiting/hoping to live out through the success of their own star or team. Which is basically where their hate comes from.

I have respect for him since I seeing him in 2015 in Glasgow at a small local fight but he still came to support the show for 2 hours before he had to travel back to London for a press conference early in the next morning.
