Well, if AJ stops running and actually winds up being one of those opponents, then it is appropriate to note how easily his opponents land on AJ.
That one-two that Wlad put AJ down with...do you doubt Wilder could do the same but even faster and with more power?
That's what Hearn is afraid of.
His nightmare literally flashed before his eyes Saturday, seeing a guy who weighed the same as his AJ put down by a faster and more powerful left-right combo the same one that floored Joshua against Wlad, a combo AJ took rounds to completely put behind him.Comment

Of course. That’s one of the reasons this fight is so intriguing. Both have shown to be vulnerable, and both can hit and are offensive minded. And not just offensive fighters, but they actively seek the knockout. It’s damn near a guaranteed KO. I mean, combined they’re 59-0 with 58 KOs.
But Wilder’s point was that he can put down a big, or heavy, guy as he did with Stiverne. Sure Stiverne is no AJ at all. But you can’t deny what Wilder said, and you can’t doubt that he can take a Joshua out.Comment

Hey, Finkel and Hearn were talking about "Wilder v Whyte" right before Pulev pulled out.
As soon as Finkel said put AJ's name on the contract as next if Wilder wins, Hearn went ghost.
AJ was asked after the Takam fight about Wilder and gave a "someday" answer.
And both are hiding behind financial success in Britain while knowing a Vegas fight will be as big or bigger financially while expanding Joshua's brand in the US as well.
That's duckville, dude.
Not all AJ's fault but Hearn is his guy so he has to wear that.
And they know it, which is why they have been all over social media (even AJ uncharacteristically) to deny what everyone saw them do and heard them say.Comment

Oh, come now.
You have been on these boards long enough to know that the presence of an offer can also mean a duck and that just because there is no formal offer doesn't negate the fact of a real swerve taking place.
We see it talked about on this and other boards all the time.
Bottom line is this.
There may be no bigger fight in boxing than Wilder-Joshua right now...even the Canelo and GGG rematch may take a back seat to it.
But, we see AJ and Hearn get in a ring after a fight and say "someday"; we see Hearn throwing out embarrassing potential percentages for Wilder (20%) that he would almost certainly turn down; and both of them are acting like AJ is a clear A-side while a place like Las Vegas exists.
This (and other things) alone and individually may not be running, but taken as a whole...
It aint a good look for AJ.
And again, they know it which is why you have seen them all over social media the last few days.
It looks bad and they are doing damage control.Comment

That last comment put me at undisputed champion status!! I think this is the perfect time to end my career and go out on top as a true champion of the sport! I'd like to thank my adviser Al Haymon for believing in me and Showtime for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talent and my abilities to the world!! Every time I've been on this site I put it all on the line so I can leave the game with my head held high!!

Am not into friction, i deal with facts and reality, when someone comes to me to discuss boxing like an adult then i would do the same with them, give them the respect that they deserve.
When someone comes to me and say fighter X is running, then i would ask them what are the running from? Is there an offer that was presented for them to run from?
You know an offer like the one Whyte offered to Wilder. Now going by your logic "Wilder" is running from Whyte, why? because he has an offer made to him.
Now like i have said before this whole thing turned into another thing am NOT surprised that Wilder right hand KO all this guys that he fought, with that level of opponents am really NOT shocked.
Do i think Wilder stops Joshua? Absolutely....look up my pick history regarding that fight.Comment
