I had it 7 - 5 Canelo. Obviously more than a few rounds were swing type rounds.

Canelos defense was severely underrated in this fight. He frustrated Golovkin a lot with it. Canelos downfall was that he wasn't active enough and I think he was trying to steal rounds.

You cannot deny that this was a close fight.

If nelo really had won, then GB wouldn't allow to draw decision. Watch the fight again, watch GGG's punches carefully. He landed more clean punches than nelo. But tv did't reapeat them by slow motion as they did nelo's. Anyway, it is clear without repeating slow motions. Canelo was running almost whole fight. You can't win the champion by fighting only a few seconds in each round. You must dominate. Otherwise, all the close rounds go to the champion.
