The Stiverne rematch was a blessing in disguise for Wilder

Breazeale destroying Wilders best win wouldn't have been a good look.

its true. breazele would have had a better resume than wilder. stirverne, mansour, and that undefeated prospect. strange how things work out.

If Breazeale knocked out Stiverne ( something i would be expecting and was) he would have been called a bum killer.

Honestly ive never seen at any point in all my years watching boxing so many get so hyped about a out of shape inactive fighter who didnt have a decent win in his entire career get so excited over bc wilder knocked him out.......

I think it could be knockout of the year but when you then realize why the knockout was great well? Makes you scratch your head how anyone coorelates that to a sudden favorite over Joshua? Not shocking though, this is the boxing world after all!

its especially strange since most touting wilder are the same ones who said:

        ggg only fights bums
        ggg's resume is terrible
i dont care who ducked ggg he still is unproven
        its easy to knockout bums
        knockout punchers are overrated

now they love a guy who has a resume ten times worse than ggg and hasnt knocked out one top 10 fighter?

But Ortiz would have been his best win if things went as planned

I never got that either, Wilder/Joshua situation is very similar to Golovkin/Canelo situation, in this case Wilder is Golovkin being ducked and avoided and Joshua is Canelo a superstar who's claim to fame is beating a very old HOF,
