Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Eddie Hearn is Ducking Me More Than Joshua

Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) wants Anthony Joshua's management to stop "ducking" him and set up a fight for the WBC heavyweight championship. The 32-year-old American, who is prepared to travel to Britain to defend his belt against WBA, IBO and IBF champion Joshua, has accused promoter Eddie Hearn of delaying negotiations over a bout.

Joshua himself has said that he's had no offers to fight from Wilder, so maybe Wilder needs to actually talk to his management team and get an offer on the table? Then if that gets ignored he can talk about ducking... at the moment all this is is Wilder being lazy/arrogant and expecting everyone to come to him, which is laughable when he's in no way a draw.

With all the screaming online he doing you’d think his team have made one offer and had it rebuffed. If the moneys stateside put up them $/£ and get it made.

Calling out ppl with nothing tangible and then saying your being ducked? I like Wilder but come on.

Keep blowing that smoke Wilder only your 5 fans actually believe the garbage you are spewing. Sit down and shut up you have no bargaining power here and the fight will happen where Joshua wants it and when he wants it. This clown feasts on damn near 40 bums and wants to act like Joshua ducking anybody when he could have fought bigger names and made himseld the a-side but chose the safe route like a typical Haymon fighter. Beyonce here needs to be reminded he is nobody but a belt holder and Joshua is the star here.

It amazes me how people come on these threads talking about "offers" that were or were not made like any of us really know if the camps have communicated.

This morning we found out from Parker's camp that there has been talks with both camps and money has been discussed on both fronts. Just yesterday posters were claiming it never happened. ******ity at it's finest form.

Truth is we don't know how much contact these guys have had in the past. Relying on ambiguous statements, then coming here to argue is childlike. Unless there's an affirmative statement about whats going on, spare us your fanboy rants. Especially these British posters. It's just dumb. Eddie said yesterday that he's meeting with Finkel and Haymon this week, so idk what the above posters are talking about representation (or lack thereof) for.

Name me one Haymon fighter that's taken the "safe route". Last time I looked at the rankings all if his top guys have fought solid completion over the last 24 months. Even Wilder had two great fights canceled.

Thurman, Spence, Garcia, Porter, Jack, Jacobs, Santa Cruz, Broner, etc. Have all taken some solid scraps in the last two years. Who are you talking about that's not fighting good comp?

Funny, I don't remember Wilder standing on top of a mountain screaming for Joshua after he KO'd Klitschko. Now that AJ took some time to dispatch Takam, whom virtually everyone struggles with, Wilder seems emboldened. And of course, Bum Squad dispatched the pitiful Stiverne, so he really is smelling his own piss. Please, AJ and Hearn, make the fight with this fool and KO his ass, so we can all move on!
