    Two-time welterweight champion Shawn Porter (28-2-1) is very impressed with IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence (22-0). The 27-year old Spence burst onto the scene in May when he captured the title with a knockout victory over Kell Brook in Brook's backyard in the UK. Spence is scheduled to make the first defense of his title in January against the always tough former champion Lamont Peterson.

      he don't want that smoke, why do you need to fight garcia? It should be thurman and spence

          Why not fight every body?... not that porter will beat spence, I’m not sure anyone can, but porter is one of the f w that will fight anyone. You gotta give He man That

              He should fight everyone I meant the order. Garcia's not interested in a fight with him so he should pursue the holders.

                      Indeed! But in the "pressure fighter" style, Spence is a more refined version Porter (much more probably)!
                      I'd still would like to see the fight.

                          I think he feels Garcia will have no choice but to fight him if he wins the belts off of Keith Thurman. Coz at that point the champions would be Spence, Porter (if he beats Thurman), and Crawford (when he beats Horn).

                              I mean realistically Danny and Shawn are in the same caliber. That’s who Shawn’s sights should be aimed on. Spence is kinda shooting for the stars

                                  Didn't Porter break his left hand against Granados?

                                  He's gonna be out for awhile so I think Thurman will fight a tune up and then again next year after hurting his shin or chin!
