It is like what a lot of us have been saying. No offers have been made by Wilder's team likely because he doesn't appear to have one, nor does it seem probable that they will ever be able to make AJ an offer.
AJ is going over to America to negotiate although both Hearn and AJ are confused about who they talk to. What more can anyone ask of him?
Him speaking on Whyte made a lot of sense too. Hearn made an offer for Whyte to fight Wilder and he rejected it.....fine he can do that. Whyte is AJ's rival not business partner. Traditionally, and ideally, if someone wants to fight someone else some sort of offer is made.
Also makes sense about 3 dates being 2 if one is a foreign date. Hearn trying to put on a fight in Vegas would have teething problems.Comment

Deontay Wilder and his people are clueless. How could they put together an offer when their biggest payday is under $1m? They simply don't know what they're talking about. They get crazy ideas and make crazy demands. Joseph Parker turning down 20% is also laughable.Comment

Wilder is ****ing in about how AJ is running but hasn't even made one offer for AJ to run from.. If they want the fight bad, why hasn't DiBella or Haymon contacted Hearn?
How can you call someone a runner when they are the ones planning to go to the US to negotiate a fight.. Wilder is the one running, he's running his mouth a lot about how much he wants the fight.. Well tell your team to contact AJ's team and tell them you want lol. Wilder and his team are a joke.Comment

Deontay Wilder and his American posse are terrible at conducting business. That is the fact of the matter. Wilder, in his low-watt brain, believes he has to act like a clown in order to make the fight happen. It is frankly embarrassing. His manager or promoter should tell him to behave and sit in the corner until negotiations are finalized.Comment

Am I the only one confused by a stadium fight in March?
The only place they could do it would be in Cardiff again with the roof closed after the 6 nations finished. So more likely April.
Lets say an average of £150 a ticket, plus I dunno like half of Klitschko PPV buys, disregarding any further money from Showtime or other networks because God knows how that works. But 20% for an AJ opponent is £5 million standard. Plus I'd imagine he'd get to keep all the PPV money from New Zealand.
If they could eke out an extra 5% out of Hearn and get up closer to £6 million. Plus everything that comes from New Zealand.
Someone is going to get greedy with AJ and really fuck up their fighters life here. Because at the end of the day AJ could get ironed out by someone who isn't their man. And Parker himself with a different set of judges could have got edge by Hughie Fury or Ruiz missing out on millions.
If I was Parker I'd take 20% now.Last edited by Sparked_26; 11-08-2017, 08:27 AM.Comment
