I think he is a live dog yes, he's looked a bit limited but his speed in close is not to be underestimated, he can smash guys , look what he did to Dimitrenko even if he's made of Origami

Browne is a monstrous puncher but his chin is nothing special and his skills and speed lack so Parker should be able to stop him and add a bit of value to himself.

If they can get Pedvetkin off his roids he's a little guy that gets smashed up by cruiserweights, Parker has a chance , it's still a decent scrap even with Pedvetkin cheating.
In all honestly, probably the Joshua route. Less risk that the fight falls through, or that when he could gets to Russia he could get royally done over. It's Povetkin's last chance and his promoters / investors only have one more opportunity to try and get their money back so they are likely to pull loads of things to get the W.

I think they actually hold some leverage with Joshua, he doesn't really have too many legitimate options right now as the HW division isn't that deep. For me it's only Parker or Wilder currently, but if Haye beats Bellew they may try and push that fight for April instead.

If Parker gets Joshua, he would get some good coin and the treatment in the UK is ok apart from some early ref stoppages, and the odd dodgy card. A good performance raises his profile massively and a win changes his life.

Yes I can't see Parker stopping Pedvetkin (possible though) and surely Russians will cheat him whereas a gallant loss to Joshua keeps him in the public eye

If he goes rounds and shakes up Joshua a bit with some nice combos he will stay box office with a loss

If Joshua turns up heavy like he did his last fight, then Parker can outbox him. Parker is more active/busy. And he seems to have a good chin.

Not really sure how Joseph Parker is going to test Joshua's chin any more than Klitschko did... especially when you consider that Klitschko is a much harder puncher than Parker who since his step up hasn't managed to stop 1 single opponent?

One sure thing in this sport is that everybody has the right to run his mouth the way he likes before the fight actually happen. Now Wilder, Parker, Pulev, everybody want to test Joshua chin. Well let them keep on coming like Klitschko did as he said he was hungry and obsessed to knock Joshua out, when he finally met Joshua, Joshua retired him in peace.

I agree, I really think that Parker has a big shot at upsetting AJ here who is becoming beyond overrated like he's the next coming of Ali. Which would be hilarious to laugh at Hearn and all of these sudden businessmen here protecting their roided God, but it'd suck for Wilder to miss yet another big fight.

                      Nope

Parker isn’t going to KO Joshua, he’s not a particularly good boxer, he’s not all that fast either and not convinced he can land a big punch on Wilder or AJ. Come to think of it, he’s the one that should be fighting Whyte not Wilder.

People have to remember there isn’t much depth of talent in Australia/NZ boxing, so pretty much his entire local record is worth nothing at International level.
