why is joshua v wilder the only fight thats not allowed to be built up?

Why do most AJ fans here act like protective mothers when talking about this fight?

This fight has been building long before Wilder beat Bermane on Saturday. The night AJ beat a past prime Klit he became the #1 HW, Meanwhile Wilder at worst is the clear #2 despite being the champ longer.

Wilder came back from injury and tried to fight the best available, AJ took care of his Mando. Both fight in the early part of 2018 and if both win then set up a fight between the 2 spring /summer 2018.

But all of a sudden Joshua's adoptive Moms wants to hold off as long as possible for whatever reason with f.ucking broad like excuses . It won't mean you're a bad parent if Joshua loses to Wilder it would be the best fighting the best in probably the biggest $ fight for 2018 there's no reason it shouldn't happen

not years and years of 'marinating' in order for a fighter to get old, just a fight or two before to warm up and a bit more hype. It will happen late next year. And 'griff' its not just ticket sales that bring in money, its ppv sales too.

Deontay Wilder basically has nothing to lose. He has no fans and no drawing power. Outside of a few fat Yanks on boxing forums nobody cares about him. I think it's a mixture of them being jealous/mad about the adulation Anthony Joshua gets, and anger that nobody gives a damn about Wilder. The sad reality is, win, lose or draw, not many people will care.

I have no preference to be honest, I just want to see the fight for the sake of the spectacle. The reality is if AJ wins it will be hyped like he beat a prime Ali. If Wilder wins it will knock Hearn off his perch, that's about it. Wilder will return to making less than $1m in Alabama.

no, all im saying is you lot shouldnt get your knickers in a twist cause the fight hasnt been signed a few days after wilder last fought. And youre all lapping up wilders soundbites, the guy has no track record of fighting anyone good so how can you be so sure hes desperate for the fight? Cause deontay said so? Actions speak louder than words. If he really wants it then he'll get it. If joshua was happy to fight klitschko i cant imagine hes going to be scared to fight wilder, the guy klitcschko used to beat the crap out of in sparring by more than one account.

Yeah....a bunch of these "fans" aren't making any sense at all.

Joshua basically did what he had to do once he won the IBF belt. He had two voluntary defenses, then fought Klitschko as a unification so the IBF mandatory was delayed until after the fight...since the Klitschko rematch got scrapped, he ended up fighting the IBF mandatory as he was supposed to.

Now with the situation with Ortiz and the WBA making a decision to drop him from the #1 spot, AJ doesn't have to worry about that mandatory defense (even though Hearn said that they would have made that fight after the IBF defense). AJ can go after any title holder he wants now.

People are just dumb as rocks on here (no other way to put it ) they think bc the fight hssnt happened yet since Joshua defeated Klitchko that Joshua is ducking .

Where were all these imbeciles when team Wilder stood in center ring after Wilder won his title and told the ENTIRE world that Wilder will NOT be fighting top guys or unifying anytime soon when Klitchko had the belts ? How dumb are these people that they THINK Hearn is avoiding this fight?
