Joseph Parker has a better resume than Deontay Wilder and should rank higher.

Consider for a minute; Andy Ruiz Jr. and Carlos Takam are both current Top 10 Heavyweights. They were both Top 10 when Joseph Parker beat them.

The only Top 10 who Deontay Wilder beat is Bermane Stiverne in the first fight. Other than that it's no contest. Wilder's next best win is over Top 20 ranked Johann Duhaupas.

    Absolutely.

But Wilder fans think he should get the AJ fight first (despite having worse resume) because and BOOOMBSQUAAAD.

Parker's resume takes a dump over Wilder's but neither are particularly good. Wilder's ethnicity just means he has more backers but once his "0" goes they will pretend they knew he was garbage much like what happened with Michael Grant.

the difference is Parker went to controversial decision against both.

Andy Ruiz and Takam would both be winners had they been draws. the decisions were that close.

to a lesser extent, the Fury bout.

It's like Joseph Parker could easily have 3 losses

Hughie Fury is a top 20 current Heavyweight. He is on a par with Wilder's second best win.

This is where fanboys use stats to avoid painful truths.
            Stats; Parker should rank higher.
Truth; Wilder is a greater threat and the fight everyone wants to see.

That said, I think Parker has legit earned a shot and I've no problem him fighting AJ before Wilder if that's the way it works out.

Wilders best win is over a fat lazy short counter puncher who has no drive whatsoever.

There is a big gap between top 10 and top 20

Thats how bad heavyweight is. Wilders resume is weak

Deontay Wilder is most definately a big threat, no doubt. He has the power to KO anybody. Just saying, I feel Joseph Parker is overlooked. Based off of resume he has the second best resume of the three current champions.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not comparing Wilder and Lomachenko or their resumes

But as everyone loves to say when it comes to Lomachenko...

                  "Eye test"

No one really thinks Parker beats Wilder. Wilder is clearly #2 heavyweight

Parker openly ducked wilder. Only one of them is constantly trying to fight the best

What has Andy Ruiz ever done besides lose weight?
