IBO does not mean anything to Ali, Tyson, Holmes

it should be a 50-50 split. if not joshua is ducking. wilder is an international superstar. the evidence is right here...

      joshua 90k fans
      wilder 9k fans

      joshua 1.5 milion ppvs sold
      wilder 0 ppvs sold

      joshua 15 million dollar purses
      wilder 1.5 million purses

based on those numbers wilder is about ten times less popular and generates at least ten times less revenue. should get 10 percent of the purse. if he doesnt accept hes ducking. facts dont lie!!! dont be making demands haymon your daddy cant cash!

Why do some people obsess over what the split will be?

They’ll negotiate a deal acceptable to both sides. Presuming AJ’s side is willing to even make the fight.

Will anyone’s enjoyment of the fight really be affected by who makes what?

Just checked: Canelo has more than twice as many Twitter followers than GGG. So I guess he should make twice as much? Is that really how the OP thinks this works?

presuming that wilder will even accept an offer that hes worth and not ask for too much. he could have raised his profile and got more data if he had fought whye but now we have to go on the data we do have and its not looking good for him in the negotiations. oh well he wants the fight so badly im sure he will take 10 percent or so

Twitter followers etc don't mean ****. It's how much money you pull in. Joshua is 10x the draw Wilder is. Wilder should be grateful if he get's 25%.

The truth is the IBO is a marketing strap different than the fab four. We all know this.

IBO or not, Fury beat Klitschko. Because the UK has its status quo standards and discrimination against travellers, is the reason why UK Boxing didnt fancy Fury as a top figure... we get it.

Joshua vs Fury shouldve already happened.

But have no fear, looks like Fury has joined the Wilder alliance to say he"ll wreck AJ.

It all comes to the Hearn family and their connections. If Warren was really gangsta little Eddie would be in a hole in the desert, all sponsored by BJS & Friends too
I don't think it was necessarily discrimination against travellers, it was more likely the highly incendiary comments that Fury made about women, gays and ***s very soon after the Klitschko fight which poisoned a lot of the UK public against him. As soon as he beat Klitschko it's as if he thought it was some sort of god-given duty to start preaching about those things now that he had a platform where people would hear him, and it backfired enormously.

He went from being the most celebrated UK heavyweight boxer since Lennox Lewis, to one of the most hated figures in the country, practically overnight. It was horrendous to see his rapid fall from such great heights and accomplishments in a very short space of time, all because of those comments he made. His P.R. team then tried to salvage things by setting up an incident with a gay guy where he kissed him on the cheek, with the newspapers cameras conveniently close-by, but by then it was pretty much too late. The backlash of those comments I think sent Fury into a deep and dark depression, into a world of heavy ******* usage - a world I suspect he hasn't fully emerged from yet.
