This is kind of a funny statement. What style has Ward not faced that Beterbiev would bring, that would make it a "Horrible x 2" matchup for Ward? I'm not badmouthing Beterbiev at all, but I don't think there's a style invented yet that Ward can't deal with - and I don't even like him.

IMO, Ward would handle Beterbiev now without too much difficulty, but not in a few years.
However, this is an absolute BS fight for a belt. Hate cupcake titles and Beterbiev's opponent has no business being in a title fight. This is a division where there needs to be one or two at the most belt-holders because there are excellent fighters who should be fighting each other, not scrubs like Koelling, who is only getting this fight because Sauerland bought him an inflated rankingComment

Yea, I think Beterbeiv has been mis-managed and should be much farther along in his career at this point. Really disappointing because I think he's capable of a lot, but hasn't even been given a real opponent yet (but people want to say he's ready to beat the P4P#1, lololIMO, Ward would handle Beterbiev now without too much difficulty, but not in a few years.
