The catch though, is Oscar. He may very well do something ***ed up and keep this from happening.

I'm sure Canelo wants this though. He knows he's faster and stronger. He knows he can hit the guy. He also knows he ***ed up, got too confident and played around. If I were him, I'd be dying for the rematch.
Lil'G fans boys need to realize there are a minimum of 2 Mexican holidays...

the X Factor is Bernard Hopkins. We know for a fact the gangsta in De La Hoya will ''bend over'' to Bhop to not break the record, and FFS no pun intended with fishnets..

Therefore, the road to beat Bhops record is 2 more fights. Seeing how Bernard behaves in general and has say with matchmaking at Golden Boy, GGG vs Alvarez will happen in 2018.

Worst case scenario is GGG gets injured in the Charlo fight or against Murata that jeopardizes the Sept. fight.

I agree that Nelo should fight GGG in may, but Loeffler nor Abel nor Oscar are trolling gossip about failed negotiations. That fact alone states all parties are at fault behind the scenes and Nelo can't be blamed unless Abel leaks an insinuation that it's not May.

If Nelo snatches the WBO from the winner of Lemieux BJS, then complete undisputed unification in Sept. is bad?

Or do GGG fans prefer that Nelo beats GGG in May, and GBP restructures Nelo?

the 160 division is heated at the moment.

I think it's a 50/50 toss that GGG might actually fight Murata. Nelo has the right to exercise the clause, but he didnt perform poorly!! Nelo is in a win win situation by the simple fact that their tape is archived for future generations to see that GGG couldnt hurt the shorter Mexican who debuted from 140!

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck... it's Canelo/Lemieux.

Wow!, you two are quite delusional, ya just keep living in your true fantasy. You two watched ward clearly “tko” (lmao) Kovalev via multiple fouls, ward’s a joke and fortunately he’s retired as of late. canelo lost versus GGG, and is clearly not too excited to rematch G.

Loeffler is a ****ing idiot. GGG should have fired Loeffler, he has let the crooked ****s at GB yank GGG around before and now letting it happen again. Loeffler acts like Canelo has the belts. As soon as the crooked BS Canelo fight was over Loeffler should have signed up GGG for the Saunders fight. Loeffler gave GB the Saunders belt like a dumb mother ****er. Now GGG will be inactive again which is what GB wants. Loeffler may as well be working for GB.

You can't win a fight by not throwing punches and eating jabs all night.

I’m a fan of both Golovkin and Canelo. GB has managed to to master the art of manipulating this boxing game like a hooker manipulates a John. The overwhelming majority feels like Canelo squeaked out a draw against Golovkin. That’s just a fact. I’m in agreement with some here that feels Loeffer is allowing GB to pull the strings. He should call the shots on this one and get a fair venue with ethical judges. It’s enough already.

Hahahah, I think we all know he knows GGG won and he wants GGG to get older and older and older
Because both want the most money they can get, why doesn't GGG just give him what he wants and sign, it always goes both ways, they will offer counter offer until they both happy.

I think in these big fights with rematch clauses that it should be the winner get the same A side deal of the first fight, if its a draw its 50/50. Meaning there is no negotiation as it was signed off on the first fight.

This is BS, what does a rematch clause stand for when if they refuse the offers and then go fight somebody else.
