I certainly wouldn't pay the fat little boy any money for throwing 4 punches landing none. he would have to pay me for getting tv exposure and failing to perform.

Kind of a one fight a year guy. He's not going to get anymore shots.
Maybe call it a day, or be wheeled out every now and again at a lower level.

He should fight Seth Mitchell in a steel cage match.

why on earth woud you want to see that fighter again?

he's not a decent fighter. he was a contender years ago, but certainly not any more. he didn't land a single punch and showed up horribly overweight. you'll literally find better conditioned dudes running in parks in every major city in the world. you don't train hard and spar a lot and come up with that kind of performance. you just don't. he came straight off the couch and collected 500 thousand from what i'm hearing. 500 thousand for that! he didn't land a single punch, and clearly didn't train hard or spar much.

don't give that guy another hand out, or don king the time of day. don king is a snake and he knew exactly what he was doing, cashing out on stiverne being ht eonly guy to go 12 with wilder.

god willing stiverne retires. god willing. don't encourage him

Nice statement but the guy came in terribly out of shape and basically stood there until he was put to sleep. He came for a check and got it. He wasn't going to win even with a great training camp but the man never even put up a fight.

i've always felt he was biased toward black fightesr, but certainly better than the kigali's of the world. it is what it is. i can't expect to change how these guys think. they're grown men and set in their ways. all i try and do is shape the attitudes of everybody else into something more practical.

you should not want to see bermane stiverne box again. if yo uknow this sport and are unbiased you should know that it's time for him to retire.

Because I'm a boxing fan and when I see a guy do some clever work at some point in his career, I don't completely trash him because he's lost to an undefeated champ twice. Same with Kovalev. I don't think Stiverne is near Kovalev level, but he's still shown himself to be decent in the past and I'm curious if he can pull himself together.

I refuse to be nsb trash like mlac and others who just hate, hate, hate all day. It's easy to hate on fighters. Much harder to show support to guys who take a bad loss.

I once considered you the best poster here but you've become extremely rigid and predictable in your opinions. I'd never want or expect you to change your opinions but if I can cause someone to open their mental box a little, my time here is well spent. I know I piss people off because I don't play sides and I'll criticize the same fighters that I also praise at other times. I'm really not trying to please anyone here or fit in. I just call it as I see it play out.

People aren’t trashing him because he was outclassed by an undefeated champ.

Stiverne didn’t belong in the ring the other night. He wasn’t in shape and didn’t want to fight. He didn’t respect himself or the paying customers enough to give his best effort or any effort at all and that’s why nobody should pay a dime to watch him work again. It’s time to find a new job and there’s nothing wrong with that.
