Comments Thread For: Arias Vows To End Hearn's U.S. Run: Jacobs is Going To Sleep!

This Saturday night at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, British promoter Eddie Hearn will stage the first event of new United States brand, Matchroom USA. The HBO, Sky Sports televised card is headlined by Hearn's first big American signing, former middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs. In the other corner, will be undefeated contender Luis "Cuba" Arias (18-0, 9 KOs), who plans to make a very big statement with a shocking knockout victory.

This actually begs the question. If hearns is successful with his boy will he take AJ from the U.K. to the U.S.?

I actually give Arias a small shot to outpoint Jacobs, but then on the other hand his power is very very low. So Jacobs UD.

I know nothing about Arias. But I know Danny Jacobs is among the most underrated treasures in boxing right now. I will ride with Jacobs until he gives me reasons not too.

Miracle Man wins with a KO late.

Arias is actually pretty good so if Jacobs takes him lightly then there's a slim chance of a shock.

I wouldn't put any money on that though, Jacobs should still win.

I watched a lot of videos of Jacobs leading up to the Golovkin fight. He's a very underrated fighter. That loss to Pirog pegged him wrong. He is a very smart fighter. I don't know too much about Arias so that tells me he hasn't done enough to warrant any kind of interest and I don't expect him beat let alone put Jacobs to sleep.
