it's UK all day

In Vegas you get site fee, 20k will get a 10 mil gate. PPV in the U.S. and PPV in the UK. If the fight is in the UK it's not gonna be PPV here. Everybody knows Vegas fights make the most money.
What does Wilder get 1 million and 11 thousand ppl in an 18 000 capacity arena bruh

IF the US PPV (it will be on PPV in the US) is not a focus and the numbers are not expected to be more than some icing on the cake then you don't time the fight to start at 5am GMT a a normal Vegas fight, they can easily start it much earlier and have it be on at a time that appeals to the largest audience.
They can be creative to make the most money, it really doesn't have to be a zero sum game between US and English fans.

That is much easier to accomplish from Vegas and the build up here than if the fight is held in London.
They can have pretty much the best of all worlds if they are creative and plan properly.
Even at 5 or 6 EST that fight will likely be pulling a good amount of US buys, do you think this fight can't pull like 500k easy (at twice the price of UK ppv) at a good time? Probably like 350k at a rather odd time. That is like more than 20 million in extra revenue if the fight is in England and kind of out of the publics mind they will have a much harder time pulling numbers in the US while UK numbers will be pretty stable.
So I fail to see why they shouldn't think outside the box and try to make it all work for everyone. It is not normal or easy but they can try some things and a fight of the magnitude allows that because people will want to see who gets there head taken off.

Neither guy is a draw in the US.

Even that Mayweather/McGregor fight was really naff when it actually came down to the production considering the money on the line, even the lighting is shit - I wonder if there is a reason for that health and safety or whatnot. If you compare McGregor's UFC entrances to his Vegas one. He has green lights, the foggy dew plays, and then that Notorious track. It's cool. As a second generation Irish person I like it - it gets me going a bit.
The entrances to that Mayweather and Conor honestly felt like when you've stuck out a club to the bitter end and they actually turn the lights on as the last song is playing.
I never want to go and see a fight in Vegas personally.

The fight is greater than the sum of its parts, it is like the first Guardians of the Galaxy no one knew that **** either but people got excited about it (and it was awesome) now it is like it was always a big thing.
