No it isn't. The time for the fight is after Wilder has a big UK fight to build name recognition and Joshua unifies against Parker. This is the only top fight in the heavyweight division and unless Tyson Fury loses 90lbs the only way either boxer goes from here is down, win or lose. Make this the biggest event it can be.

Wilder gets no credit from me for destroying a fat pudding who didn't throw a single fecking punch back and only turned up for the cheque. None whatsoever!!!!

Definitely received several videos and messages about Wilder yesterday from casuals. That short Twitter feedish KO clip is doing rounds on social media.

Joshua got put on the floor by slow ass klitscho and he looked terrible in his last fight against a fill in. Wilder will stop him. No doubt

But this article brings attention to a very important development. Wilder went viral today. The knockout was covered by almost every major sports site as an absolute must see moment. The last 24 hours have created more buzz for Wilder than he's had in the rest of his career combined.

People have been sleeping on Wilder for a while, but sometimes all it takes is one moment for everyone to collectively wake up. Fair or not, logical or not, last night was a star making performance. The visual of him standing with his hands down, like a mythical beast or villain from a superhero movie, is so captivating that even the most casual of fans are clicking links to find out more about what happened last night.
I agree, the fight won't happen until next fall at the earliest! If Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller defeats Wach, then I think that's the fight I want to see next for Wilder! If Miller loses, then Whyte would be the next best option. However, Wilder would be a fool to go to the UK to fight Whyte...unless it's for A LOT OF MONEY! I hope Miller wins! Wilder vs. Miller at the Barclay's! Let's go!

The look on his face from the opening bell, the look on his face when he stood with his hands down, the way he juked before throwing the final combination on the third knockdown, etc, were such incredible combinations of charisma and devastation that it was the kind of sequence that captures the imagination of the public.
A lot of haters in this thread, but I agree with you. That was bad@ss to see Wilder thump his chest and then put Stiverne down with a jab and one of the straightest right hands possible. That was some Tommy Hearns **** hitting Stiverne in the mouth even though he had is hands up tight. No windmills there. That was a heck of a performance, I don't care what the haters out there say

I like AJ, but Eddie Hearn doesn’t want that smoke for him, They know Mark Breland would have wilder sticking and moving to avoid AJ boxer puncher style, AJ swings hooks to go for the kill more than jabbing so deontay winning is realistic, no one cares about whyte, and wilder shouldn’t have to fly for whyte, but he would for AJ

Fight should be on sky sports box office/CBS
                  Super Bowl weekend in London

That way Eddie Hearn will have American sports media’s attention

Joshia has shown better boxing skills but when asked if he would face Wilder like a little "B i t c h" he starting putting lame B u l l s h i t excuses to duck Wilder.Yet Wilder didn't think twice to say he wanted Joshua next.

You're right. Numbers don't lie. The various memes and gifs of the knockout are getting millions of views. Wilder is getting more attention than he's ever gotten before.
