Now We Know Why Hearn Is Protecting AJ from Wilder

I've said it many times before.

When all is said and done, I believe AJ will be the best heavy of this era.

But, if AJ fights Wilder in the next year or so, Deontay sparks him out.

The truth is, AJ is still learning some things.

And one of those things is how to deal with movement.

Another of those things is how to block right hands.

AJ doesn't fight very well against a guy that can stick and move.

Throw in some power and it is very bad news for AJ.

I think AJ vs Klitschko is the fight of the year.

I think AJ deserves all the praise he gets for doing what he did that fight.

But, that fight also showed exactly why Wilder is so dangerous to AJ.

And last night that theory was reconfirmed.

Wilder has never failed to deliver his power to his opponent, no matter who they were.

He WILL do the same against AJ unless Joshua learns how to block right hands.

And judging by what we saw of Anthony- vs a shorter guy on less than 2 weeks notice- he still hasn't quite shored up that defensive flaw.

Now we know why Hearn is avoiding this fight.

Because British boxing is inferior to American boxing. It’s understandable because AJ is worthy of the big stage and they want to maintain that position. That won’t be the case once he fights Wilder. So they want to milk it.

All the fight proved was that Wilder can knock out a piece of **** like Stiverne. It’s really odd that some people have seen the win as more evidence of Wilders ability....he fought a carcass ffs!
We already knew that he beats cans to be fair...he hits hard no doubt.
Trouble is, AJ would hit back and he’s not used to that having fought such a poor sequence of opponents.
Personally, I think AJ knocks him out very early in an embarrassingly one sided fight.

Klitschko, Ortiz and now Wilder have shown the ability to throw the combo where the lead moves your defense and the power shot lands flush. Wlad dropped AJ with it and hurt him bad. I don't think he gets up from Wilder's combo....plus Deontay has the best jab in the division.

Wilder had to fight Stiverne again because AJ wants to wait until "maybe 2018" possibly 2019 to face the Bombsquad

Their last two fights tell me all I need to know.

Wilder won by brutal 1st round knockout.

AJ needed ref "help" to call a stoppage over a cruiserweight sized african goat herder who took the fight on 12 days notice. AJ's performance was utterly pathetic.

Wilder will knockout AJ and we now know why AJ is ducking him.
