  • Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Feels Wilder is Not Big Enough: I'll Eat Him!

On Saturday night, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder threw down the gauntlet to Anthony Joshua after devastating Bermane Stiverne in a mandatory defence of his title. After knocking his opponent out in a brutal first round at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Wilder called out to his British rival: "I declare war on you. Do you accept my challenge?"

Wilder has power but is physically weak. That little ref had no problem holding on to a raging Wilder, if that was Joshua he'd have been thrown off like a rag doll.

I'm a AJ fan but right now i make Wilder a slight favorite if they face off

this quest to get as big as possible resulting in 254lb against takam has diminished AJ as a fighter, he has less handspeed, less snap, less stamina etc etc etc.

Joshua needs to weigh NO MORE than 245lbs and preferably 5-10lbs than that.

Yep but the worst thing is Wilder isn't even trying to improve his draw to get the Joshua fight. He thinks he can just demand massive pay and do/bring nothing. Which would actually mean a pay cut for Joshua. Wilder just doesn't bring enough value to Joshua.

Anthony Joshua biggest threat is wilder but I have A.j winning...if wilder tries some basketball movement like against bermane..he'll get dropped by joshua..this fight exceeds canelo-ggg in that its a very big money unification stadium fight in the u.k and it will definetly end in a KNOCKOUT..no controversy at all

              Wilder is a clown.

I didnt watch the fight but it went the way I expected and had a convo with AJ who just laughed Wilder off. He knows he can take him easy, the fight is a definite for 2018, it just remains to be seen how the bigger fights with Fury or Haye/Bellew play out.

Isn't even trying to increase his stock huh? So what you think signing to fight Povetkin and Ortiz was about then?

Is it his fault them clowns ducked and tested positive? Is it his fault Stirvirne was his mandatory?
