Stiverne going for the Homer Simpson technique. Rolled out of bed after two years of inactivity to collect his final payday. Disgraceful

I think it's fair to point out that Stiverne obviously didn't even belong in the same building as Wilder, let alone the same ring. His performance (if you can call it that) reflects his recent record and I can't help but wonder what dark magic Don King is weaving that he managed to get his guy into that position. I think the fact that this fight even took place at all says more about corruption in the WBC than it does about either of the fighters.
However, Wilder's performance was just so impressive on its own merits, regardless of the opposition, that it deserves praise anyway, that was a complete destruction. Wilder obviously went in there feeling mad about the way things have gone over the last year or so, and also went in with a point to prove, which he did, emphatically. Now Hearn and his stooges' simpering that Wilder isn't a worthy challenger to Joshua rings especially hollow. It doesn't help AJ and his team at all that he's coming off a somewhat disappointing and anticlimactic performance where his opponent came away with more credit than he did versus a total obliteration like that, even though Joshua arguably had a (far) superior opponent. Honestly I still favour AJ in a potential fight with Wilder but I absolutely want to see it all the same. There's 0% chance that the fight would go 12.Comment

Knocking him out in the first round is a statement. I always thought Wilders power is ovverrated but now i'm a believer, at least in his power. That is real one-punch power right there. But i still hate him he talks to mutch bull****.Comment

Here's the thing... Joshua has ALREADY SAID the Wilder fight HAS TO HAPPEN. So enough with the b.s. about how Anthony is scared of Wilder. And if your Wilder is so much of a badazz, he should have no worries getting paid 3-4 mil $$ + U.S. TV rights to fight Whyte in England, on Joshua's card headlining vs Parker. THAT will be a huge money card, and then we get the AJ vs The Windmill King fight a few months later. Which would likely set attendance records for the sport. I really don't see why any fan would be against something like this. We fans end up getting two great fight cards with some obvious big action fights coming our way. And it will be great for the sport.
Don't be a DA there bubba. Never said I don't want a Joshua/Wilder fight. Get new parts for your head there goofball. It doesn't work properly.Comment

Oh now that's hilarious, friend. You're actually gonna compare Stiverne to Wlad? Really? With a straight face too I'm guessing? LOL!!!!!!

Don't change the subject with Floydie. He has zero to do with this. And BTW I am fully aware of the circumstances. OBVIOUSLY I mean Wlad and Stiverne in their same existing state. Don't start in with the deflectorama. THIS Stiverne compared to Wlad as he was vs Joshua isn't even in the same universe. Go sit down and have another cold one friend. You're just having an off night. LOL!!!
No worries friend. I think we all just wanna see Joshua/Wilder... which I full believe will happen in '18. HOW it comes together I think is what many fans have differing ideas about. But it will in all likelihood turn out to be THE biggest attendance in boxing history, which is exactly what the sport needs right now.Comment

I honestly don't know how you can't like Wilder after tonight. He has the height and reach of the Klitsckhos and the power and style of Tyson. Wilder is vicious. He showboats. He throws wild, crazy punches. And he knocks out EVERYONE. What the heck is not too love?

Yeah its a statement. Because had he looked but decent against an overweight and inactive Stiverne you could question is performance. That jab was flying like I've never seen it. He looked improved.Comment
