If you're new to boxing, how do you know Wilder had no "technique whatsoever"?

Because it looked like he was just throwing punches like a maniac.

Think pretty much everything that needs to be said (big knockout/fighting a fat sack of **** who didn’t throw a punch/AJ next please) has been said.

Couple of notes:

- Wilder’s footwork and jab are vastly improved over the past three years since I first saw him.
- Still throws his overhand right as a telegraphed windmill. He’s going to leave himself absolutely wide open to a counter against a good technician.
- 2 1/2 stone difference between AJ and Wilder. Might mean AJ that can soak up the Wilder power more effectively than others.

Reckon AJ will take Parker in the spring, just to piss Wilder off and force him to make Hearn some money. 100 tedious threads on the same “AJ is ducking Wilder/AJ is fighting yet another opponent better than everyone Wilder has ever fought” argument.

Wilder looked composed and more technical tonight, but against a fat and out of shape Stiverne, so hard to judge. Definitely still hangs his chin and telegraphs though, it is that and the fact he moves out of danger in straight lines that makes him look so vulnerable to me...

AJ vs Parker in the spring is sensible, it is also sensible for Wilder to make big and easy money knocking out Whyte on that card too... forget the terrible analogy of "Kings chasing peasants" and just go build this superfight and take out a peasant for talking treason ( if we must do Braveheart analogies, Deontay)...

AJ vs Wilder in summer 2018 sounds good though, hopefully with a fit and active Fury lurking for the winner too...

I dont care how inactive Stiverne is/was or how undeserving he was and how we all expected this to end badly. Some other poster guaranteed me a KO the other day and I told him the last guarantee I saw was Canelo-Khan but this was pretty bad too.
