This is actually the first time I see Wilder fight(I'm a new boxing fan) and I don't understand the big hype around him. I mean, it looked like a school fight to be honest, didn't it? No technique whatsoever. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I don't know this guy.

Think pretty much everything that needs to be said (big knockout/fighting a fat sack of **** who didn’t throw a punch/AJ next please) has been said.
Couple of notes:
- Wilder’s footwork and jab are vastly improved over the past three years since I first saw him.
- Still throws his overhand right as a telegraphed windmill. He’s going to leave himself absolutely wide open to a counter against a good technician.
- 2 1/2 stone difference between AJ and Wilder. Might mean AJ that can soak up the Wilder power more effectively than others.
Reckon AJ will take Parker in the spring, just to piss Wilder off and force him to make Hearn some money. 100 tedious threads on the same “AJ is ducking Wilder/AJ is fighting yet another opponent better than everyone Wilder has ever fought” argument.Comment

Stiverne literally got knocked out into what i can only call the "sacrifice" pose. Lmao.
He just laid there like the sacrifice that he was for Wilder to stay busy.
On a side note. Wilder still throws wild as s hit but he seems to have better balance. Just the way he moves on his feet. He's more fluid in his madness but I guess who wouldnt look that way against Stiverne... still, I cant quite put my finger on it but he seems to move with better purpose now. His feet seems to move with him now a bit better as opposed to falling with every punch. Great fluid jab for his size. He almost moves like a smaller man at times. He's getting betterLast edited by NearHypnos; 11-04-2017, 11:58 PM.Comment

I swear that over the past couple years, all I’ve read on this site is “unification this” and “unification that.” Now all of a sudden, many of those same people that claimed unification was the tell-all/end-all in boxing somehow now feel that an AJ-Wilder unification isn’t necessary at the moment. Or feel that Wilder needs to build himself up to a justify having a unification with AJ. I don’t understand it.
It’s almost like as soon as GGG got his fight with Canelo, title unification didn’t matter anymore. No one gave a **** that GGG basically backed out of the four belt clash with BJS to fight Canelo. Crawford’s victory over Indongo in their four belt clash was poo-poo’d. Makes me wonder how genuine all the belt crap that’s been spewed around here the last couple years really was
Crawford victory should be poo poo, but it wasn’t big enough to deserve p4p 1.
But yes, Joshua fans are frightened of Wilder, as they should be.Comment

Oh STFU, so we should praise that suspect stoppage a week ago?
AJ was taken the distance by a midget with no world titles on his resume.
Wilder DESTROYED the man he took his world title from.
AJ is the underdog in this fight, no way he can deal with that type of power, movement, Wilder is the more polished athlete.
AJ will not be the universially recognized HW champion until he beats Wilder, it is what it is.Comment

Kaboom ! Holy sh@#t. Feel kinda bad for Stiverne, but that was an all time K.O., I'm on You-Tube checking it out right now. The only way to get Wilder; is to get inside, but he does a good jab of keeping you at distance. I don't see how Joshua can do that without getting himself in an exchange and getting knocked the F@#$k out.Comment

If you're new to boxing, how do you know Wilder had no "technique whatsoever"?Comment
