first off, them braids alone are about 2-3lbs. With added sweat dude's boxing with like 5-6lbs on his head, which is pretty impressive imo going 12 against hard hitters. We're not talking old school Briggs hair weight, but Stiverne's braids look to have grown longer since the Wilder bout as well.

As many theorize with beards being an advantage, which I dont believe it to be, I'd say having braids like Stiverne is a nice advantage at Heavyweight. With Stiverne consistently having to stiffen his neck while rocking his braids with the water weight imo fairs well to absorb power.

Does Stiverne have an underrated chin because of this?

To me he should have shaved it off pre fight, think of how loose and mobile his neck would be with all that weight gone, his head movement game could be insane.

It would be like when a hitter swings that heavy ass metal bar.

Very odd thought but I don't know about all that.I do think its a disadvantage to lighter fighters that thing has to weigh close to 5pds no?
