Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder-Bermane Stiverne II: Pre-Fight Report Card

Two years since his last fight in the ring, it's a pleasure to note Bermane Stiverne has only put on a quarter of a pound since his win over Derric Rossy in November 2015. The bad news is that's still fifteen sloppy pounds heavier than Stiverne was for the first Deontay Wilder fight where he lost pretty much every round and the WBC heavyweight belt. Stiverne has managed to get back to the mandatory spot without having to fight for it and it doesn't appear he fought too hard for it in camp here.

Stiverne had his Buster Douglas performance in the first Arreola fight. Dude had so much pop on his punches, fought so smart, looked like a serious force to be reckoned with.

Despite getting the knockout, he looked worse in the second Arreola fight and has continued to look like **** since. He's getting KOd tonight.

Stiverne still has the puncherīs chance. If he lands flush on Wilderīs chin with the right hand then this fight can be over.

A single great performance against an otherwise pedestrian career. Everyone expected Arreola to win that.
