Joshua would move at his own time and pace too as the A-side, not when Wilder wants him to move.
This is basically it, I made a thread about it the other day. 'They' and that basically refers to Team Wilder, American fans, media, and Joshua haters all want the fight NOW, because the longer Joshua has to mature and iron out his flaws the more the fight tips in his direction, and maybe in 18 months it isn't so interesting.

A bit of hypocrisy if nothing else. When Wilder was raw and still in a steep development curve, he didn't show any urgency to unify or take on the real challenges. Hell if you go back further, he didn't even fight for the title until his 33rd fight. But now he is the guy with the advantage in experience and maturity he is trying to jump all over AJ because he knows the longer he leaves it the better Joshua gets.

Their seems to be a clear double standard with certain people because it suits their agenda. Personally I don't think Joshua should jump, but seeing the man, and following his career path to date, I think he will probably fight Wilder next, or in 2 fights. They have brought him along fast, and even though it increases his chances to lose due to a lack of experience, I think they take the fight next summer.

Beontay Wilder is one of the biggest jokes in boxing.
Two years he took his time and showed no interest in fighting the big boys.
He saw AJ dismantle Klitsch whom Beontay would have never thought of fighting.
And now he's putting pressure on someone he himself would have dismissed if the tables were turned.
Man this sport has lots of clowns in it.
Not a good time to be a fan.
This guy wasted 2 years and now wants a shortcut to fame because he's feeling left out, finally.

Part of the problem is because he's with the Haymon culture of not maximizing star potential. He's been fine with it like Adonis.
Fact that none of the Haymon fighters are PPV materials even to this day.
Just imagine him with Arum, for example.
He would have been like the Jeff Horn of the heavyweight division.
It's comical Beyontay is the one chasing the superfight with AJ, and not the other way around.
              Hilarious!
Beyontay and his management team, which included Haymon, didn't think he could beat Klitschko!
Haymon and his fighters are the biggest jokes in boxing.

Wilder wasn't keen on fighting Vladimir because he could get embarrassed and the hype could end abruptly.

He and Haymon, with Showtime backing, had the same access to Klitschko as Joshua and Hearn did.

They didn't want to take risk even though it's a natural way of taking over the mantle.

Good thing that happened in the Klitsch fight was that AJ fought a live dog that could still bite.
AJ got KD'd and no one could say it's a cherrypicked fight against a washed up retiring fighter.
It's almost the same as Horn beating Pac.
Pac was in decline and pretty much washed up since Bradley 1,everybody knows this, as soon as he stopped throwing 80-100 per fight he was declining and not the same fighter anymore, the old manny never hesitated to throw shots

It’s simple his team didn’t think he was ready. And they were probably right. But it’s not like there was any public pressure on that fight either. Not the same situation we are having here.
