I wonder if he trains anyone other than J Rock Williams? I am always impressed by Breadman's ability to dissect fighters and fights. Ever since his ********** days.

Bread is one of the boxing media's best and most honest dudes, I value his opinions the most as they are never tainted by his personal "likes" (unless he states that they are) but are instead founded on "cold" analytical observations...someone should get this guy commentating on tv fights.

In my opinion Roy Jones Jr would absolutely blast Ward. Alot of ppls forgot how good he was in his prime, it was almost surreal. Ward was a solid technical fighter who used his physical strength, inside fighting and dirty tricks to maul his opponents while taking away their biggest weapons. While Ward was hard to beat, in my opinion he got clearly outboxed and lost the first Kovalev fight. Do anyone see Roy Jones getting outboxed by Kovalev?

Roy jones would absolutely toy with Ward in my opinion, while Ward would do his best to spoil the fight with holding, dirty fighting etc. But Jones was so fast and unconventional, and even though his punches didn't look so hard because of the speed, he was a monster puncher.

In my book it wouldn't even be a close fight, Roy Jones was just so much better than Ward.

While I certainly can accept the opinion that Kovalev won the 1st fight, isn't it a stretch to say that he clearly outboxed Ward. If Kovalev, who has a very basic style (granted an effective style that he has "mastered" ), clearly outboxed Ward, Jones vs Ward shouldn't even be a discussion since Jones has many more tricks than Kovalev. No?

Oscar had Trinidad befuddled with lateral movement. So Tito would have a very hard time landing anything solid on Floyd in my opinion.

I would've loved to see a fight between Tito and Golovkin. Tito had a killer instinct and never got discouraged when he took hard shots. This one would be a battle of attrition.

Tito would have a hard time catching Mayweather but he would have some success. This would've been Mayweather's hardest fight but I can see him winning.

I like Ward but I think a prime Roy Jones would box circles around him. This wouldn't even be close.

Who the heck ever thought of Glen Tapia as an elite prospect?

I remember when it seemed like people wanted to kill me just because I thought a hypothetical match up between Trinidad and GGG would be competitive. I never said I would favor Trinidad, but a few mortal performances by GGG later and all of a sudden this notion will seem more plausible for many.

I have the agree with Breadman here, in my opinion Tito would have beat Mayweather. Tito' stamina was unreal and based on how he performed against David Reid and Whitaker I think he would've handled Floyd. Oscar had size and power but faded down the stretch against Tito. I love the opinions.

What about Tito vs Canelo or Mayweather vs Forrest? I would like to hear Breads analysis on those fights.
