  • will wilder fight a legitimate opponent in 2018?

I did this thread for 2017 and the answer has been a resounding no, with wilder fighting washington and stiverne 2. A 39 year old grossly overweight stiverne.

So will 2018 be the year wilder steps up his competition? Or at the age of 32 and with almost 40 fights, is it still too early for wilder to fight a dangerous opponent?

As I'm sure any objective fan would agree, it is Wilder's fault that his opponents fail drug tests and it was his choice to have Stiverne as the mandatory opponent.

And so based on that, I have to conclude he must not be trying at all to fight someone and I will vote no.

          Wow, I'm sold.

Is there any way I can change my vote in the poll ?

Question should be "Can any legit opponent stay off PEDs long enough to get Wilder in the ring?" And if so, which opponent?

klitschko would have done when he was around. david haye would have done. parker would, pulev would, joshua would. he could still have fought ortiz after the doctor verified the medication.
