Comments Thread For: Jamie McDonnell Vows To Leave No Doubt in Solis Rematch

Jamie McDonnell and Liborio Solis return to Monte-Carlo to rematch for the WBA World Bantamweight title on Saturday night live on Sky Sports from the prestigious Salle Mdecin of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, and McDonnell has vowed to leave no doubt in the victory this time, while Solis is gunning for revenge. McDonnell defeated Solis in November by scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113, cards that prompted Solis' team to appeal the result and the WBA to order a rematch.

You might be right about the weight, he's already eyeing up Ryan 'miss a drug test' Burnett at Super Bant.

Because of their lack of KO power. They lack some ring IQ in terms of tieing up when on the ropes & judging their distance. Thing is some fights make you, some fights break you. He might have learned from the last time out or he might fold under pressure and blame being drained.

I used to hate Josh Warrington, thought he was ducking all the comp, was boring as **** and couldn't crack a egg. Sometimes all the criticism from couch potatoes like me and previous in ring experiences improve you ten fold. It's like something clicked in Warrington's last fight, I swear after round 6 I saw a fighter I've never seen before and I thought to myself he might actually smash Selby. I seen the same change in Fury in the 2nd Chisora fight. Sometimes fighters might up the levels and Jamie might go through a gear change.

Yeah I'll admit lack of punching power may have something to do with it but generally i'm speaking about their style, it just doesn't appeal to me
