Comments Thread For: DeGale: Me vs. Chris Eubank or Greorge Groves is Massive

James DeGale believes a mouth-watering rematch with long-term rival George Groves is inevitable further down the line. On December 9th, the IBF World Super-Middleweight Champion makes his homecoming at the Copper Box Arena, alongside Lee Selby. Sidelined by injury since the start of this year, DeGale missed out on the current Super-Middleweight tournament that features domestic rivals Groves, Chris Eubank Jr and Callum Smith in the semi-finals.

You know...I enjoyed James 'Chunky' Degales career thus far, but how disappointing it is that it appears that hes going to spend the next few years of his career fighting domestic level competition, the likes of E.U bum jr, George Groves and maybe even worse Callum Smith but I'll give 'Chunky' a pass because hes proven himself in America.

Please come back soon to world level James, we await your return with open arms.

It's seems like you're a real Eubank hater for some reason. He barely lost that fight on a split decision and has literally taken apart anyone in front of him. Granted none have been world level except an old Abraham, but you can't deny his talent IF he blasts out Groves and Smith. If he then goes on to best Chunky the you have to acknowledge him at least as contender.

Personally I'm seeing potential to clean up but obviously it's a wait and see game right now.

Chunky is okay, but he was schooled by Groves in 2011. He didn't have any answers. Granted he was still really into his career and a bit green, but you could say the same for Eubank against Saunders.

Basically, point is will you commit to acknowledging him if he wins the SS and beats Chunky? Or will you hate him regardless?

Yildirim was the great prospect and scary fighter Degale and others were talking about. The way Eubank took him apart is commendable.

Groves is super champ. and Eubank is almost there . it would be a great fight

For some reason?! are we talking about the same guy? hes not even liked in the UK!

I thought I made it clear what I think of this bum tournament, this is is not the cruiserweight tournament where champions are fighting champions unifying titles ; this 168 tournament is basically a domestic tournament -- it was set up that way from the beginning, where is David Benavidez? Zurdo Ramirez? James Degale?!

So what if E.U jr. ends up holding the Muhammad Ali trophy in the end after beating unproven, glass-jawed and gifted euro-level loafers? What a disgrace to the great Muhammad Ali to have his name associated with this buffoonery.

Yea and DeFail couldn't beat Groves. When Eubank disposes of Groves, DeFail will look worse than ever. He would've gotten beaten up by two fighters Eubank Jr. KOed.
