Mark my words, when a Diaz 2 scenario happens again McWelfare won't be getting the nod. No more fixed result.

When Conor was coming up, he was actually funny and entertaining - but now he's starting to just become non-funny and egotistical - just like Floyd. I think he's going to start to turn off his own fans. Nobody really cares about Conor unless he has a fight scheduled just like Floyd. Neither is relevant without a fight lined up.

Conor definitely will not resign with the UFC and he has four fights left on his deal - so he's either going to fight in the UFC or just retire. The UFC should start to consider stripping him of the title - it's been over a year of not defending the title. Everyday the Tony fight becomes a more interesting fight than Diaz 3. I'd say if Conor doesn't schedule a fight soon - just strip him and have Tony fight the Khabib-Edson winner for undisputed title.

why does a fan have to care about a fighter's pockets? worrying about another man's pocket is generally some heaux shyt

I don't blame McGregor for angling for a bigger slice of the pie. He'd be a fool not to after the mayweather fight increased his profile so much

Normally that would be enough to humble a man but not this guy.
The man is somewhat of a clown, but what is he saying that is incorrect?

MMA fighters make dog sh/t money, Connor just made many times over his career earnings in one fight.

He has leverage, if the UFC offers him a slave deal, he should just go into boxing, fight 3 or 4 fights and walk.

But lets not hate, the man is maximizing his earning potential, I am a boxing guy but my hats off to him.

if he decide to come back to boxing. he's gonna have 1-2 big fights only. he just simply cant compete with the top guys in boxing and talking shiiet can only take him so far.

nobody is gonna pay to see conor vs some bum in boxing. he has 2 big fights maxed in boxing and im being nice here.

How can I respect a guy who got stopped and then went out partying to celebrate a few hours later? Stop sucking up to these jokers.
Indeed. Anyone giving him any "respect" for his move to boxing is a fool. His "transition" was pretty much the same thing as when Toney went over to the UFC. It was easy money for Toney, he got 500k just to go in there and tap out. I don't see anyone giving any big respect to Toney for what he did. It was pretty much the same thing with Conor, he went in there with a retired boxer and the soon as it got tough for him the ref stopped it. It was a glorified sparring session.

I would respect Conor if he transitioned to boxing and started like any other prospect and went through some tough journeymen on the way up and then got championship fights because he would deserve them.

I'm a boxer, if someone offered me to fight a 25 pounds smaller retired guy in MMA (that would be GSP I guess) for tens of millions of dollars I would gladly do it. The worst thing that can happen is that he takes me down and I tap out. Big deal. No real damage and money in the bank. I don't see this would be worthy of respect though.

He better make good investments if he's going to go the "I don't need anybody" route.
Yea but Conor will do commercials, endorsements, maybe movies. He will be able to do allot more than Floyd. Floyd could only do boxing, and club appearances.
