Any ideas for a great boxing game?

I'm hoping to get some input about what would make a great boxing game for the xbox one without the developer having to license known fighters. I think a game like Prizefighter was pretty close as far as the dodging and weaving techniques but I know it wasn't as popular as EAs games because the name sells. I think if the graphics are realistic, the game play is true to life, like timing and strengths, and there's a great online mode without cheats, but bases the fight on the fighters boxing skills rather than gaming skills, there might be a potential for a surprise hit (pardon the pun).
So what do you think? What would you like to see in a new boxing game? You never know... word might get out!

they need a brand new system thats more up to date, fight night was good to break some ground but the fighters should all be different as far as the punches and movements they make. more realistic inside and clinch game. sad that its so hard to put out a boxing game now when fight night was very successful as a series. all the fight nights sold well. one day eventually it will have to come back

Of course you're here to just nitpick, rather then offer insight.

Why are you so bitter about life ?

Why come into every thread just looking to be arrogant and call people out?

You must live some goddamn depressing life bro. I feel bad for you man, I pray things start to work out for you in life

Anyways, back to original discussion, I think to make a successful boxing game they need to totally create a new engine , these sports franchise games just recycle the same old engine year after year. Look at the WWE games they've had the same animations for like 10 years now

All I've ever wanted from the fight night games was a damn promoter mode! Where you build a stable of fighters, book BiG ppv cards, design your own gym and promotions logo, sign big contracts with superstar fighters, you can choose to be entirely corrupt like Top Rank/Bob Arum, or you can be a charismatic snake like Don King, of course you can actually play the fights that you promote... it can be similar to wwe gm mode back in the day too where you can build rivalries, this would be dope

This isn't life, this is a boxing thread. If that's your life, sort it out.

Anyway, in a boxing game...I'd love to see the gameplay represent boxing a bit more realistically. Better cliches, inside boxing and movement such as cutting off the ring. I feel as though previous games have been a bit too stand-and-trade.

I want a up to date roster of fighters in every division and unlockable legends along the way. Also different modes like career mode, promoter mode, online mode, and tournament mode .

As far as gameplay they should have a fight night type format but updated with a lil tweaks.
