Adalaide Byrd is ref Robert Byrd's wife, go figure. You'd think that she would have learned something from him about the sport. She needs to get out of boxing and go call bingo games somewhere.

Being a fighter doesn't mean that makes them a good judge.

The Judge who scored the fight for Golovkin over CANELO & the Judge who scored it a draw should get suspended or fired immediately.

Evander "we gotta see the fight, then we'll see who wins" Holyfield who didn't want to give a prediction leading up to MayPac just jumped on the Manny bandwagon after he got schooled over 12 by TBE.

Frankly I had Manny winning 4 rounds - and the 10/2 scorecard was a blatant joke - but it doesn't change the fact Floyd won the fight handily by taking Manny out of his element.

Besides, "Real Deal" is full of crap talking about he didn't want to leave it to the judges. This is a guy who went the distance - TWICE - with a bum in John Ruiz and robbed Lennox Lewis in the first fight.

            I hope these guys succeed.

Everytime boxing gets a big moment, terrible judging ruins it.

The two are correct that the problem hurts the sport. But former boxers as judges will not address the problem so long as SUBJECTIVE scoring is used to determine the winner. Boxers, especially, will have their own biases. How can they ever be neutral??

Evander and JMM bring home some good points. Glad we finally got rid of Joe 'I Am Bought And Paid For' Cortez, but there are refs and judges that do ridiculous jobs at scoring and officiating. C.J. Ross and Laurence Cole come to mind right away, but there are indeed way too many of them muddying the water.

I absolutely do understand it. Part of the reason I spend thousands a year travelling watching fights. I just wasn't really into Floyd-Pac but hosted a party for other folks. I mainly just drank and ate tacos. Didn't bother to watch sober or re-watch the next day because it was garbage.
