What you said about "bragging" applies literally to every boxer. Well, maybe except for Klitschko. And still i pick GGG as one of the most respectful fighters in the sport.Originally posted by REYESdelBOXEO View PostGolovkin a gentleman? Hahaha
The guy said Kell Brook was too small for him, yet dragged him up 2 whole divisions, then bragged about breaking the face of a guy half his size.
That's not a gentelman , that's a bully bro.Originally posted by Dasmius Shinobi View PostGennady Golovkin is a humble guy outside of the ring. People will respect him for the gentleman he are.Originally posted by Dasmius Shinobi View PostYes, Golovkin said all this. Chris Eubank Jr. lost his pen. Kell Brook step up by his own free will and spoke trash, sold his 0 and Golovkin ride the same song with talk trashing and won his highest payday of his career at that point. Money he use to his family, nothing bad about that. Because a fighter (GGG) spoke trash and fought a small fighter (Kell Brook) for money, don't mean a fighter is a bully and not a gentleman, is business. Talk trash is business in boxing, nothing new here. The most important thing, this man helped the victims of the earthquake in Mexico.

Most fans wanted ggg to fight Degale or Lara or ZURDO instead of a welterweight at that time not the guy he said was too small for him.
ZURDO, Lara , & Degale also stepped up by their own free will , they talked trash too.
Many many fans don't like golovkin, because he is held to the lowest standard in boxing as far as competition, while getting the most credit for those bottom of the barrel opponents.
GGG calls out the 154-168 divisions , but is allowed to pick the lowest level of opponents & duck the best.
Golovkin got moved up in the pound for pound rankings for fighting Bum of The Year Dominick Wade, while other fighters don't get any credit for actually facing the very best fighter's.
Wade was an absolute must for Golovkin because he was the mandatory, but Charlo is his mando and their already ducking him, & he gets a pass.

Well let's see, when Golovkin turns down a fight with 154 pound world champion, Erislandy Lara , by stating that Lara has to fight several fights at middleweight & work his way up the ranks to "earn" his shot at Golovkin's titles.
But a 147 pounder gets a direct title shot with 0 fights @ 154 or 160. That is clear to see that ggg ducked Lara and he got a pass.
Also Golovkin took the fight against Dominick Wade asap stating it was a "mandatory" obligation, but now Jermall Charlo is his mandatory challenger , and Golovkin said Charlo has to earn his shot. That is also a duck move.
Agree?

I scored the fight 117-111, 9 rounds to 3 for CANELO. CANELO clearly outboxed ggg.
U must be one of the people who gave GGG points for in-effective agression , missed punches, and points for recieving jabs & power punches in combination to his head & body .
All things u don't get points for.
GGG a career long middleweight couldn't beat a smaller fighter making his debut at middleweight, all while having advantages in height, weight, reach, power, they also said he had the footspeed & footwork advantage also.
Remember , going into the fight GGG was ranked #1 P4P & #1 at middleweight, he was the favorite, CANELO was the underdog. Some people , fans, media & fighters, said this was a mismatch& CANELO had no chance, he was going to recieve a beating and get completely outclassed. Also CANELO had 0 amateur fights while GGG had 300 + amateur fights and won an Olympic Silver Medal.
David Price? Come on man , who is that guy really, show me his credentials to talk down on a top proven fighter of CANELO's caliber. CANELO won the championship rounds and dominated the 12th round against 2 top 10 pound for pound fighter's in Cotto & GGG , that's clear evidence that CANELO having poor stamina is a myth.
