Mikey should be at 140 or 147 but he's not ready for 147 & never will be so 140 is where he should be!
      Mikey > Crawford

      As of right now.....

i hope this fight gets done,,this is the weight class he belongs at,i don't know why people say he's big and should be at 147,when he fought broner you can tell he wasn't as powerful, this is his third weight class, there are others out there who are big and i don't see people talking about how they should move up,like keith thurman,he use to fight at 154 but moved down, spence is pretty big himself,i think he's fine at this weight and if he is going up 140 max i think

Double standards. Its pretty obvious the chances of Garcia losing to someone at 135 and 140 are next to none so they want him to go where the size discrepancy will be large enough.

Though in my opinion, Im fine with him smartly acclimating and going to 147. The only advantage those guys would have over him is size, and a smart intelligent fighter can always figure out how to nullify that. Then again, this is coming from someone who wanted the Cotto-Garcia fight to go through.

How does that budget help, if PBC is not on HBO, and Top Rank is not on HBO? PBC and Top Rank are doing much better than GBP! So how is that good for Oscar and GBP? Where did race come into the conversation? Please explain? Does Al Haymon only advise Black fighters? Benavidez, Beterbiev, Bute, Centeno Jr., Collazo, Derevyanchenko, Figueroa Jr., Fonfara, Fortuna, Frampton, Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Glowacki, Kaufman, Khan, Lara, Lipinets, Malignaggi, Mares, Plant, Santa Cruz, Selby, Zlaticanin! Looks to me like Mr. Haymon is an equal opportunity businessman! Maybe you just don't like seeing a Black Man at the top?

Agree 100%, he can't see any of the elite 147lbs right now. But I would like to see him face the likes of Porter, Postol, Garcia or even Mathysee just to see where he stands in those divisions.
