I dont know it off hand ,just about Shelley Finkel stating HIS guy wont be rushed into top contender fights (apparently they are still going by that blue print at least were until recent 2017 ) But shouldn't champions fight other champions though ? At least according to the deranged Wilder fanatics ?

Joshua be scared doe. you know the guy who fought klitchko and already has unified titles all within a years time of being a champion..Scared doe..lol

Put two fighters in there that the fans want to see and the numbers will be there. Wilder vs Joshua will sell. Wilder vs Mansour will not !!
First of all, you have a lot backwards.

Pac hadn't sold more than 1.4M PPV prior to Floyd.
Mayweather had broken 2M buys twice without Pac.

Canelo's first PPV was with Floyd- so he didn't double anything.

Canelo was a proven PPV star who had done a million PPVs the fight before GGG- so doing 1.3M WITH GGG might not be about Golovkin at all.

I agree with your premise that two good fighters make for a good PPV, sometimes even if either guy doesn't do well by himself.

        But, it is no guarantee.

I think Wilder vs Joshua will definitely sell.

But, whether either man can do well in the US PPV market remains to be seen.

There is a big difference between selling 1.5M PPVs at $27 apiece, quite another to do that at $70 to $100 apiece.

Joshua can continue to go to the UK well as often as he is able.

But sooner or later he may have to come to the US.

True, Wlad made a 100M largely outside the US.
Maybe Joshua can do the same.

But we all know what the surer thing is...

            Wilder is ready to go.
Joshua needs to meet him in the ring. Whyte fight would be good too but in Vegas.
Wilder needs to fight in Vegas if he wants the big money and lights.

His career from the beginning told us they did not want too much attention on him even after winning a title when his OWN manager said he will not be fighting the top guys right way .......what more do you guys on here REALLY need ?
Arreola was there because povtk juiced. joshua is big in the uk... i think wilder should go there, it would be epic. if aj doesnt fix his stamina issues wilder will KO him. who cares about ppv we just want to see the fight.

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”

32 fights in his pro career up to 2015 and he's a "baby"...

                    Let him develop, he says...

Over 30 fights in and he still needs work?

All the fighters available and they pick Chris Arreola?

A guy who wasn't ranked in the top 30 in the division?
