So.....he passed on a Cotto fight knowing he would still fight Linares and still risking an L without the Cotto payday -- which would of been his career high purse? wouldn't it be funny if he gets beat by Linares, how would that look? pretty dumb if you ask me.

He passed on signing a 3-4 fight deal just to fight Cotto. That was the deal he was offered with LInares being the second fight of the deal and passed. He didn't have to sign on to GB just to fight Linares. GB knew that and thats why now they're trying to make a deal so it wont go to purse bid.

I mean I just dont understand : both are good fights with a great payday with just two fights left after that, I probably would of took it but I cant say for sure without the details -- not that I care about that too much, anyways hope to see this fight for what truly matters to me as a fan, THE lightweight lineal title.
