Oscar back on his bull**** again. Went from saying the rematch should be next to, ummm la, let's wait and see how this b class fight plays out first , negotiations take time, blah blah. It's time. For canelo to let Oscar know who works for who and stop going along with the nonsense. It's also funny to see these Canelo fans defending the business aspect of it. Weren't y'all the ones trashing Floyd his whole career because he moved like this?? But one thing about Floyd, he always gave immediate rematches for his controversial decisions.

ODH wants to age Golovkin another 4 months if he can promote 2 of his own fighters. Pretty sure he won't pay Saunders' ransom, but if he's promoting both fighters it makes sense.

Ugh the trolls on this site, more concerned with attacking Golovkin than wanting to see the best fight the best. This is an obvious rematch and there is a rematch clause so there is nothing really to negotiate.

If Canelo swerves it's a clear duck, even if it's ODH's fault and even if 2% spammers on this site make a hundred nonsense posts otherwise.

I was saying a while back that Canelo fans were worse than Golovtards. I stand by that pretty strongly.

Age 4 more months. WTF? You don’t age over a 4 month period unless your in your 90’s or have terminal illness. The rematch was always gonna happen in May or September anyway. I don’t really like Oscar saying this, but it’s also about as bad as GGG’s team saying May was longer than they wanted to wait before fighting again. I mean it’s known fact that Canelo is a two fight a year guy at the moment. Cinco De Mayo and September. Both sides are trying to create leverage, which in the end will hopefully be nothing that roadblocks the fight.

No one tried to rip off Danny Jacobs. Danny Jacobs wanted more than he deserved. Look at what happened with the PPV. It drew a whopping 20k more ppv sales than GGG's fight with Lemieux. Jacobs brought plenty of power and skill to the table but nothing in terms of an audience. Conversely, GGG's fight with Canelo was Canelo's second biggest ppv in his career. GGG was justified for asking for as much as he did.

I'm betting that they weren't happy with the payout to GGG considering the PPV sales; Canelo sold close to that number with Chavez. I'd look to run him down a bit too. If they take 5% - 10% from GGG's purse that makes sense from a business perspective.
I don't think they were disappointed with the PPV numbers. It sold better than the fight with Chavez Jr. Only his fight with Mayweather sold more. A fight with Lemieux wouldn't do half the PPV buys that Canelo's fight with GGG did but Lemieux will cost less and pose less of a risk to Canelo. Plus with that belt Canelo would never have to fight GGG if he didn't want to. Its a good business move but a big FU to the fans.

ODH wants to matchup Lemiuex vs Canelo so he is sitting on the fence to allow Lemiuex to win against Saunders.
Canelo vs GGG is not likely to happen in May.
