    If Tyson Fury...

...comes back, loses 50% of his current mobility cart body weight and unifies the rules belts via UD’ing AJ and Wilder, how highly/lowly would you rate him?

probably make him pound for pound number 1. for some reason heavyweights dont get any credit in pound for pound rankings but if he beat them, along with beating wlad, then he'd be top of mine.

I get what you mean, with the HWs not getting credibility on the P4P rankings.... but like Fury says himself 'P4P doesn't mean anything'.
We all know the HW champion of the world is the best/strongest/toughest boxer on the planet. P4P is just a made up thing to make the smaller guys seem more legitimised to/for the casual viewer.
The HW champion of the world doesn't care where he comes on some arbitrary list.... he is the HW champion of the world.... enough said really.

Wilder and Joshua aren't particularly proven though. I mean who have those two beat really? Joshua beat a shot Wlad and a bunch of gatekeepers. Wilder beat some gatekeepers and journeymen.

Fury beating Wilder and/or Joshua would be the kind of wins that we would only be able to properly reassess with time, because at this point, those guys might as well be just hype jobs. Fury is quite unproven himself too. The top HWs just didn't fight each other in the last years, we don't know what the real hierarchy is like.

I would rate him as the best heavyweight in the world today. I don't think either Wilder or AJ are exceptional heavyweight champions. I think the prime K brothers, prime young Foreman, prime young Tyson, prime Holyfield and prime Lewis would probably beat both AJ and Wilder. Look how much trouble AJ had with the 41 year old Wlad and how much trouble Wilder had with Molina. How many rounds would the prime Foreman or Tyson need to KO Molina or Takam?

It would still help Fury out a lot though because right now he is basically a flash in the pan a footnote in history. If he comes back and beats the top guys he can at least show he was more than just one good night and was really the best over a period that would include the years he took off because he beat the guys that were in control during that time.

Probably puts him squarely in the Hall of Fame discussion at the least.

Well obviously he'd be the man and that's all anyone can be in their division. F#ck the sci fi fantasy ATG nonsense.

And based on what I've seen of Fury as of late it'd be a pretty surprising come back that would get the sci fi fantasy dorks talking about great ATG comebacks too I'd imagine.
