He'll show up for that check (likely $20+ million) and continue partying away. Its not a "fight" anymore. People need to accept that. Hearn is trying to pull a Canelo v. Chavez on the UK.
I must admit: I like this analogy!

It's true, Hearn has already offered to help Fury back which I guess would include personal training, etc. But, as others have said, I'm not sure Fury has the desire any more. He posts the occasional video telling everyone he's back, calling out rivals, etc, but then he'll turn up at a show and...

In any case, he would have to be at least at the same level he was when he fought Wlad, if not better, to make a fight with AJ or Wilder remotely interesting.

Whilst I'd prefer the winner of Wilder-Whyte to face AJ in the summer, I'd be just as happy - though I know it'll never happen - to see Fury fight Whyte as a 'warm-up', Wilder fight AJ, both fights in the spring, and the winners of each to fight in the summer.

A promoter's job is to promote their fighters to fullest while maximizing their profits at the same time! Wilder would be making more than $900,000 a fight if he had a promoter who was doing the same thing as Hearn is doing for Joshua! Joshua has made more money in his last two fights than Wilder has made his entire career with 20 pro fights to Wilder's 34 pro fights! It has nothing to do with being scared! It's all about the money! Just ask your favorite fighter Floyd! Its a shame that Wilder has been only motivated to fight top fighters within the last 12 months.

You are the same people who has been criticizing Wilder the past few years for fighting bums while avoiding fighting top guys are now saying Joshua is afraid to fight Wilder.

Surprised to see so many crying about this fight. I thought Tyson fury was the real heavyweight champion of the world and Joshua had to fight him to be recognised as such?

Tyson is done. Its been years now. Dude is a lard. No way he can get back into anything close to elite fighting shape within 24 months.

Those arguments were being made when it wasn't apparent that he's a broken fighter. Although im not a fan of his, ive been keeping up with his social media considering the state of the HW division. I underestimated how bad he's doing physically. If he's anywhere near 300lbs, I'd be surprised. Looks 350lbs easily.

                    2. David Haye (If he knocks out Bellew)
                    3. Dillian Whyte rematch
                    4. Deontay Wilder
                    5. Joseph Parker
                    6. Everyone else
I'd put Wilder above Whyte there. You could say Wilder isn't that well known in the UK but if that fight was made, the Sky hype machine have a huge selling point in that Wilder is a fellow world champ, sell him as the real threat to AJ in the division, a knockout artist etc. etc.

Whyte isn't an easy sell seeing as everyone saw him get KO'd by Joshua and then just had a stinker with Helenius.

Whyte might be a bit better known than Wilder in the UK but once it's time to sell the fight, they can make the Wilder fight much bigger. There's a lot more selling points. The only way the Whyte fight becomes a big seller again is if he picks up a world title v a good opponent, which i doubt he can.

Obviously Wilder v Joshua is bigger worldwide too.
