Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Shakes Head at Anthony Joshua's Performance

This past Saturday night, Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) retained his WBA, IBO and IBF world heavyweight titles with a tenth round stoppage win over Carlos Takam before a crowd of 78,000 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. There has been a lot of critics over Joshua's performance and the fight itself. Joshua appeared to be winded in the later rounds, and the majority of the crowd was unhappy with the stoppage - which saw referee Phil Edwards jump in way too soon to wave off the contest as the two boxers were trading punches.

You expect him to beat a 36-year-old?

Wilder will 33/34 when they fight most likely will he be old?

      Takam isn't old for heavyweight.

Frank Warren once again undresses Eddie Hearn and ALL those clowns in matchroom. Everything hes said is tha troof, so you cant call it hating -- A.J needs to step his game up, stop lifting weights and lay-off the pounded yams.

wonder what Frank has to say about his boy Mick Hennessy and his "shades of Ali" comment in reference to Fury's performance v Parker.

The issue i have here is the rivalry thing. Warren is a promoter of the other side, so i don't expect him to do Hearn/Joshua any favours. I don't think anyone compared Takam to Holyfield apart from when Joshua mentioned that headbutt (And Holyfield use of it), and i rarely read anyone comparing Joshua to Ali (Someone who floats).. Lol, Warren is just sounding bitter here because if this guy was fighting under Warren then the hype surrounding him would be double what we get over here now.
