Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: Deontay Wilder Unification "Has To Happen"

Anthony Joshua believes a showdown between himself and WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is the fight boxing needs. Joshua stopped the teak-tough Carlos Takam in the 10th round at Cardiff's sold-out Principality Stadium on Saturday to retain his WBA, IBO and IBF titles. The gruelling victory, in which Joshua suffered a bloodied nose from an early clash of heads and Takam was cut over both eyes by the time referee Phil Edwards decided he had absorbed enough punishment, kept the 28-year-old on course for a blockbusting 2018.

It will happen as long as Wilder dont price himself out like he is doing with Whyte. 7 mil! LOL he is lucky to even sniff that when he fights AJ. Wilder does not sell at all. He is pretending to have some say in the matter but he dont.

Joshua's coach Robert McCracken and Hearn see no pressing need to take on Wilder next, with both believing the superfight could be built into a considerably bigger proposition over time.

Make Wilder fight in the UK in front of 90,000 crazy Brits

Wilder has no idea where England is at anyway so make that goofy ink stained moron travel to England and meet with Joshua. Who knows what happens when Wilders Right hand lands on Joshua's jaw? But can Wilder even take a punch?????

                  F#cking this.

If the NFL operated like boxing the Super Bowl would happen every 2 to 3 years cuz some years the heat just wouldn't be quit hot enough.

Just f#cking fight. Quit talking to me about how many more people will watch this fight 18 months from now that don't know one or neither of these guys today.

How bout f#ck those potential future casual fans. Show some respect to the current casual fans who know one or both of them now + the hardcores who'll watch all your bs shows in hopes of that diamond in the rough show or random great fight or watching the next big name on the come up.
