It was an early stoppage and I'd like to go on a little longer but I've got no problem with a ref stopping it like that so he can sleep well at night. Froch-Taylor was different. Froch was coming on stronger second half of the fight.

Takam was doing alright but he was sustaining too much of a beating, the brain trauma is not something you really feel until after the fight. You can rest assured that Takam is currently suffering from a lot of brain trauma and in pain from the brain swelling. Letting him go the distance would have been irresponsible and unnecessary, he wasnt showing he could win and that's when you have to look for an excuse to pull a guy out should he be taking too many strong shots.

Takam was slipping shots....not a sign of a hurt fight.

AJ was dog tired and would have been in trouble had the paid off ref not stopped it.

Takam would just have been beaten up the reminder of the 6+ minutes, suffer more trauma, lose the decision and for what?

We got our show in those 10 rounds, hat off to him for the effort.

Last round Joshua would likely let whatever he had left in the tank go and not worry about pacing anymore.
AJ was dog tired....as usual.....and the ref was there to bail his sorry ass out.

wasnt the best stoppage, Takam wasnt completely finished, but overall joshua didnt look all that good. I see why he wants to wait to fight wilder. he did some good things.... hes a bit overrated but a very humble and good guy!

LOL at the hardcore Joshua fans defending the stoppage. If it would had been the other way around they would be calling bloody murder.

They would had been saying that he was still in the fight and there is always a chance

Yeah he had more weight on then normal also. Lots of muscles tend to start getting really stiff the longer you use them...To tight. I like being a lil cut but there is a reason why body builders suk at boxing . Sht we just saw rolly pollee beat a very in shape guy a few weeks back.
